Here at Yelverton Tennis Club, we take safeguarding issues very seriously. As the designated club Welfare Officer, I am responsible to the Chair for the club’s compliance as advised by the LTA, attending courses to remain current, and ensuring full display of all safeguarding material. New members will be asked to read and sign the “Safe and Inclusive Code of Conduct”, and a copy has been sent to all current members; it will be sent out annually with membership renewal requests as well. Paper copies of this, my contact details and the two main documents (plus a separate version of the Reporting a Concern form) are all on display on the Club Noticeboard. This section of the website has copies of all the relevant documents. If any member has a query or comment, please contact me as per the details on the poster.
